Just a reflection

I respect people who can write. By "can" I mean not write flamboyantly using high vocabulary and scholarly sources, but who can express their true feelings, intentions, and thoughts in pure light to the public.  People who are bold enough to be themselves.

On the other hand, I have no respect for people who force order upon others.  Limiting the freedom of another for  no apparent reason is just plain rude.  Today my friend and I went inside a cafe at which--to our disappointment--we sat, looked through the menu, ORDERED a cake and tea, and got some mad hwangdang feeling as the waiter brought the manager to prove that the customers must order a drink each.  Wtf?  Is a cake and a drink for two not enough...?  So we got out and drank up some sengmekju to shikhyu our unbelief. Lol frkn korea.

Break from Seoul

Most legit way to eat 닭갈비 in Korea--- in 춘천!

Wow this was too good to be true.

Trip to Chuncheon 10/1/-10/2

Traveling in Korea is soo inexpensive and convenient!  Spent only around $65 for an 1박2일 trip to 강원도.  Anyways so our first stop was 춘천, a place known for its 닭갈비 and 막국수.  They say if you go there and don't even try those 2 food, then it's the same as not even having been there.  So of course we did :D

Traditional Korean drinks- taste better in shigol

고속버스 One way ticket only $6.40 and took 2 hrs

Gotta travel on a budget- overnight stay at 찜질방 only $8!

eggs and 미숫가루/식혜 as midnight snack

Goodbye Chuncheon- Onto 강촌/가평 (heavier countryside)

Crossing the water on Korail

we're here!

To Nami Island on a ferry

But before that, gotta grab some makguksu and 감자전~

What could he be possibly thinking about...

Some scenes from 겨울연가 drama were filmed on this island. So there were many couples..ㅋㅋ

What the heck. Chicken in line?

Crossing through the field

It's one thing to speak and understand English.  It's another to communicate with and embrace the backgrounds of other English speakers.  Who says American English is the norm?
